U.S. Cellular Unveils Samsung Galaxy Metrix 4G Smartphone

Samsung and U.S. Cellular has officially release the Galaxy Metrix 4G is already available online starting now. Smartphone is scheduled to be available in retail stores starting Friday, August 24. Android smartphone has support 4G network that has the capability speeds up to 10 times when compared to 3G. U.S. Cellular offers the handset for $179 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a contract.

Samsung Galaxy Metrix 4G comes with features 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Latest U.S. Cellular android smartphone is very suitable as a “Messaging Phone” because it has been equipped with a physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard that allows typing in a message or E-Mail.

This handset runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, allowing users to access applications and games to more than 600,000 through Google Play. Google Play is a one-stop shop for all Android users, the online store has been available as apps, millions of songs and books, even thousands of films.

At the back of the already available 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, but it also contained a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video call. The Galaxy  Metrix 4G supplied by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor which is able to provide good performance.
